As soon as I heard about this, I immediately thought about you and some other friends who are also RNs and midwives. IMHO you guys even work more than doctors. And this is the pay you get. No words.

No, we are not all. When you actually are on the spectrum and people tell us, "then we're all a bit autistic" or "then we're all in the spectrum," it diminishes our struggles and challenges.

Not all of us are like that. I don't mind people telling me about themselves. What turns my brain off is what I may consider stupidity or ignorance. If I can tell the other person is ignorant, then my brain shuts them off, and I become very impatient with them.

Barbaric is a very "kind" word in this case.

The article says that she was tested while pregnant. Many women are not themselves while pregnant. I can speak from experience. And even less so if having postpartum depression. I didn't, but my hormones were all over the place.

I know first-hand what you mean (NPD abuse survivor here.) I didn't know it was called that. Based on my own experience, I don't like being anywhere near when they finally blow up.

So hypocritical of him to say those words when he himself behaved like that. Typical narcissist.

Season 4. I have lost count of how many times I've watched it, and go back to it. However, I have to skip many of the scenes with Inaros and Naomi. Too triggering for me due personal experience with abuse.

My favorite arch in yhe TV series as that of Amos. In yhe first season or two, I thought he was a homicidal maniac, until they started to peel his personality like onion layers, and ypu finally understand what made him be the way he is. The episode where he tells the "pediatrician"

It's not just in Texas. I'm very far away from that state, and I have met plenty of people like that in my area, both Protestants, as well as Catholics.
