Had some friends over last weekend that gave me two great cookbooks! Here we've got pizza rustica - a zucchini pizza. I don't even like zucchini and I thought this was fantastic!

Today YouTube recommended me a video of a guy debunking Sargon of Akkad. I used to follow Sargon in my Tumblr days as an emotional foothold against the constant bombardment of negativity that platform gave me... Looking back, it seems like I dodged a bullet by unfollowing him.

Having free time is so damn underrated. I can finally breathe a bit. For the first time in a while I've got nothing to do during a weekend, and it's glorious.

Despite not going boxing due to personal commitments... I'm happy to report that within 2 months I'm down over 8kg already!
I've not even changed my eating habits that much, I've just made sure to eat more fruits/veggies and save my plate as leftovers when I'm feeling full.

Balen om te zien dat er zo gesneden wordt in de NPO en zorgwekkend dat dat nu zo onder vuur ligt. Het is één van de weinige overheidsdiensten die nog niet is geprivatiseerd. Er werken daar zoveel mensen die zo hard hun best doen om onze eigen cultuur te bevorderen en behouden...

Been thinking about doing volunteer work for a long time, something involving cooking or music... I wonder if I could do it as a once a week or once a month kinda thing. Just wouldn't have the time otherwise.
