A weak second act that feels like it’s rushing to connect itself to the Wizard of Oz. I’ve listened to the broadway soundtrack so I wasn’t surprised. The movie adds new songs and scenes that are just ok. Still fun tho! And Elphaba doing Zero Requiem is pretty funny

Another great space opera. This time, our protags fight a more insidious fascist force than the Principality of Zeon. Zeta’s story about the Titans’ depravity and corruption of the Earth Federation mirrors the rise of fascism in the US. Worth watching for this alone.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeta
Another great space opera. This time, our protags fight a more insidious fascist force than the Principality of Zeon. Zeta’s story about the Titans’ depravity and corruption of the Earth Federation mirrors the rise of fascism in the US. Worth watching for this alone.

Mouthwashing: a cool and short psychological horror game. Kinda silent hill 2 coded. Hard to say much without spoiling it but def recommend.

Metaphor Re:Fantazio 4/5 - this game is fucking prophetic as a 2024 release and was inspiring to play after the horrors of the last election. Gameplay is at an all time high too. If it didn't suffer from horrific pacing it would be my fave Atlus game. You could cut ~30 hours and lose nothing.

Metaphor Re:Fantazio 4/5 - this game is fucking prophetic as a 2024 release and was inspiring to play after the horrors of the last election. Gameplay is at an all time high too. If it didn't suffer from horrific pacing it would be my fave Atlus game. You could cut ~30 hours and lose nothing.
Metaphor Re:Fantazio 2/4 - there are several gameplay improvements to persona combat. Archetypes require more investment, are more customizable, and stick around longer; resulting in more satisfying party building. Overworld combat makes dungeon gameplay rewarding and lessens the grind.

Metaphor Re:Fantazio 1/4 - a game that felt perfectly crafted for the current international political climate and the general feeling of hopelessness plaguing so many people. At times the game is ham-fisted and silly, but it usually is genuinely inspiring and poignant. Btws read Gene Park's review.
MAYHEM: Lady Gaga crushes it in this new album. Easily one of her best 3. Very cool homages to popular pop eras/artists. Everything is at least good and I have brainworms for several. I’m sure several will end up on my Spotify Wrapped.

Naruto Symphonic Experience: a really cool idea that I hope takes off for this anime and others with great OSTs. The performance was good, although the flute players were struggling in the first act. Also a reminder of how Kishimoto fumbled a great villain like Orochimaru

Dragon Ball Daima: great set-up, premise, and has that classic Toriyama feel. Unfortunately the pacing is pretty bad and there’s no tension for most of the story. Main cast needed more scenes interacting with Gomah and Degesu before fighting. Certain scenes are just fan-service with no build up too

Silent Hill 2 Remake: Great voice acting, visuals, and most bosses and combat got needed overhauls. Sadly the game is so padded out; the pacing is dogshit. Cut 5 hours of content and it would be my preferred way to play my favorite horror game

Gundam TCG Beta: I think this game has a lot of promise! The art is great, the cards are printed on good stock, and I like how costs vs levels allow for better balancing. Here’s hoping it’s successful!

This game gets way too much hate. Honestly like it more than any 3ds game. The story is basic but it’s more character focused. Sonia is the burnt out millenial who goes back to grad school and she’s great. Wild Area is ok, def a beta for S/V. Raids actually work unlike tera raids so 👍

Marvel Rivals (season 0 ended in 2025 so I’m counting it): it’s a lot of fun and really feels like the best of early OW. Definitely not a game I’ll grind competitive ranked but fun to play with friends. Fave heroes are Mantis, Luna, and Invisible Girl
