my wife is from america and she moved to finland in early 2024. she used to say dollars when we were out shopping and she was reading out price tags, but ofc she knew the difference between the currencies and it was just a habit of saying dollars for many years haha. she doesn't do that anymore tho

-- by instinct at this point. :'D if someone leaves food for whatever reason, i put it away for a bit and try again later. if they don't want it, they will certainly be hungry by the next feeding time. with this method i don't have to feed them in separate rooms but i do have to supervise closely--

strict feeding times so the cats get used to finishing their food in one go and the bowls stay empty between feeding times! it takes a while to get used to the rhythm ofc. i somehow taught everyone (3 cats) to go to their own spots at each meal time so they eat out of their own bowls --

omg you're lucky if those baskets stop her.. old lady milka has learned to open any and all dresser/cabinet/etc doors and also taught it to sissel and viuhti 💦 we get nowhere without child-proof safety locks.. :D

oh dang congrats on the new place and move! arranging a new place is always fun! ig september is the moving month, we're also moving throughout the month bc we're poor and try to get most of it done ourselves :D (thankfully we're just moving from one apartment building to the one right next to it..)
