This is just hard. Roommate's mom moved in with us a year ago, and my anxiety and issues related to previous trauma have been so much worse since, but I can't move out b/c of reasons, and add in financial issues and it's just been really difficult keeping my head above water this year.

One of my favorite things is finding cards, bookmarks, receipts, etc. left in secondhand books.

I recently read Held by Anne Michaels and found it really moving.

Fun fact: It was first published in 2011.

Then, I switched publishers, because a Singaporean urban fantasy couldn't sell (because no spicy bits!).
