It would have been mid to late 70s, and he was born in the early 20s so idk if maybe he was starting to go funny in the head (that seems kinda young though?) or maybe he was drunk or on something? But yeah he was like "who the *@$! Told you to bring me a drink, I don't want a drink!"

My dad got thrown out of a bar in mt airy Philadelphia because he almost decked jack klugman. Klugman was screaming at a waitress until she started crying after bringing him a drink someone sent over for him.

A friend of mine pointed out to me the other day that as big as those movies were, no one really quotes them. All the references--that i can recall, at least--ive seen to this series in other media has been surface level and visual, stuff you could have seen in a trailer or a commercial.
