Next PhD from our group: Well done, Dr. Frank Reis, and thank you Mika Tarkka, Katja Tielbörger and Eric Kemen for the excellent questions! Frank studied effects of plant age, genotype and organ on the microbiome of Lotus corniculatus, within the @dfg.de SPP 2125 DECRyPT. @unituebingen.bsky.social

After many years of PhD, I finally defended my thesis! The project had lots of ups and some downs but beside the "science," this post is more for the "human" side of my PhD and what I have learnt and have not learnt 1/7
So happy that Junhee @junhee-jung.bsky.social defended his thesis @unituebingen.bsky.social! Note the knitted DNA tie, the discarded (a.k.a. garbage can) sequences on the hat, and the PhD-themed cookies. Niek @plantevoeco.bsky.social, Eric Kemen and Kyle @kylemojo.bsky.social asked great questions!
