Okay Where Winds Meet is seriously cool. Big fan of the char customization, but so far, it's got open world exploration and discovery, amazing wu xia combat system w/ challenging fights against other masters, and quite an endearing story and writing so far. I'm hooked.

Okay finally got into an Arc Raiders raid in Stella Montis - and I effin love it. It reminds me so much of Tarkov's Labs - all interiors, all fights LOL. Played a bunch w some mates this morning, and it got spicy so quickly

The soundtrack is an absolute banger, some of the cinematic visuals are insanely gorgeous, and Esquie is the best character in the game. Overall, a little rough around the edges but as a whole, E33 is a truly special and unique experience deserved of its flowers.

Finished E33. The turn-based combat w/ parry and QTE system is so much fun and you have to lock in every fight. Though enemy delayed wind-up attacks are annoying haha. I liked the story and choice of endings, but wished it didn't take so long to reveal the central mystery.

It's done. All 63 ARC Raiders quests completed. Spent 24 hrs in-raid, and approx. 58 hrs in game lol. Now time to work on bench upgrades.

Wholesome moment in Arc Raiders when myself and 2 solo players hung out, crouch spammed, and exfiled together. I shot and killed other solo players on sight in subsequent raids though LOL. That I can do both freely is what makes this game so special. 5 out of 5 game for me.

People debating over Arc Raiders or Expedition 33 for GOTY ignoring the real GOAT. Uma Musume Pretty Derby. It has PVE, PVP, it has brought the world together for the love of horses, real and fictional and it is the most wholesome game for all ages. I will die on this hill.

I pulled Seuin Sky yesterday and finally running her story I didn't expect to resonate so hard w it. The debilitating anxiety and uncertainty when you have to keep performing at a high level, and keep having to top the last performance every time.

I gave in to my urge to play more Dragon's Dogma 2. Reinstalled it, but this time, I'm modding it for added challenge and slower pacing. Checked my achievements from last year, pretty proud of this.

Although I originally qualified for Group A, I only managed to make Group B Finals. Totally fine, as I was getting destroyed by some incredible opponents throughout the rounds. My total WR up till the Finals was 16.25%
Still happy to have finished Group B Finals in 1st place 😊

Saw Predator Badlands and it was amazing! I was apprehensive at first about tarnishing the mythology of the Predator by showing us so much character, but the film was lean, action-packed and gave us a predator that got increasingly more badass up until the very end. A fun ride.

Finally finished Monster: The Ed Gein Story tonight and I really loved this one. I think it's up there with Silence of the Lambs, Mindhunter, and Se7en for me. Not just a story about THE proto-American "serial" killer, but a trip through cultural change, in cinema and society.

I can't say I prepared as hard as I did for past Uma CMs, given I have been traveling for work a ton, but that I qualified for Group A semis in my first entry, means a lot to me
