SoHem picnic at the park!
I’m sitting under a pair of oak trees at a park in Camberwell, Australia. The trunk of one of the trees is visible at the left of frame. I am visible from the chest up. I’m smiling into the camera, wearing a boat neck top from Tommy Bahama that features green and blue leaves on a cream background, and pink-and-red hibiscus flowers. A plate of Thanksgiving dinner. It includes cornbread, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, onion jam, yam, butternut squash with maple butter and hazelnuts, brined and roasted turkey, and cranberry sauce with gin and rosemary! The Thanksgiving table. A plate of cornbread, a dish of stuffing, a covered dish of mashed potatoes, a dish of green beans, a bowl of onion jam, a plate of yams, a plate of butternut squash with maple butter and hazelnuts, a platter of brined and roasted turkey, and a bowl of cranberry sauce with gin and rosemary! The plates are empty (not anymore). There are also two bottles of bubbly and one of sparkling apple juice. We had to expand the table!

At the mall in Melbourne, this is how they direct you to the entrance! So cute and funny!

So my cat started limping. Today we went in and got her checked... and she subluxed her patella! Apparently her patellas are congenitally a bit wobbly, and the right one is worse. I hope with anti-inflammatory medicine it will calm down.

But I gave her a new nickname. Pelli Patelli!

Just got my flu shot and covid booster! Hoping to stay healthy through the holidays!
I’m smiling into the camera with two band-aids on my left shoulder: one from the flu vaccine and one from the covid vaccine. I’m a white woman with gold-rimmed rounded glasses, currently with a slight tint from the sun. She likes the window nook better when it’s got privacy!

A more pulled-out shot of the street described in the previous post. You can see the sign on the roof of Walkalong and a better view of the brick building and its white-painted neighbor, both of which have double windows on the upper floors. The windows are decorated with white trim and columns!
