I think you tend to be really hard on yourself, but have you ever written (or wanted to write) a short story? That might be a good break to let you rest and get an idea of where your novel could go. (Though the last person I gave that suggestion to hated it and got annoyed that I even suggested it…)

Since I’m not the only one who thought you were male, I guess I can admit that 😅 (which is silly since I know another camels “Charlie!“) and the Delta DID feel vaguely military/gamer to me, so I thought there was that kind of background. 🤔

If it is from the Titanic herself, I am mildly impressed! You can buy recovered coal in most (all?) Titanic gift shops. But even a splinter of recovered wood is rather neat!

(Unless you like decorating for Christmas and/or having tbr decorations around you, in which case neat! I will defend anyone’s individual right to decorate in February if they want! It’s the companies that irritate me. Tho for retail, Nov 10 would seem late!)

I think you are on the right track!
1) A statement piece helps a costume garner SO much more positive attention
2) I hate doing anything with my hair
3) I have a disproportionate amount of pirate clothes, but the hats are worse than mid.
