I just got finished reading JVL’s article. It’s very on point.

As a former AAG in Oklahoma in the Consumer Protection and white collar crime unit, the USPS postal inspectors are the BEST. They’re forced to retire early so they were my best hires. They know their stuff and are very thorough. I loved hiring them.

Yep. He’s been doing this for years. Musk is a baby who can’t handle hostility. lol.

Yes, we are. We can fight back. I know it’s scary but lawyers can do this. Hell, we go through a lot of scary stuff everyday. Let’s stop this bullshit now.

As a State Assistant Attorney General, I once told my AG (Scott Pruitt) that I wouldn’t sign a petition that I knew wasn’t ethical. He had someone else do it. I wasn’t fired. These frontline lawyers need to hold the line and stand firm.

Well, I’m glad I was sort of a liberal prepper. It’s sad but we all need to be careful and take care of ourselves.

Well, since I work for a Bar association, small increments is always preferable. 😁

Lol. It’s true that for years we’ve been talking about technology helping with Access to Justice issues. It’s just never worked out like everyone hoped. I think it will be an interesting conversation with two incredible women in legal tech. 😁 #ABATECHSHOW.

As many people have said, it is going to take time for the Trump administration to ramp up immigration enforcement. In the meantime, however, they are going to basically slap a “mass deportation” logo on the side of every regular ICE operation.

We have to keep that fact in mind.

I thought the same thing. Thanks for keeping this grounded in reality instead of headlines.

Is it a named virus. My legal assistant got really sick but tested negative for the flu, Covid and RSV.

I finally went to a cardiologist and checked out my heart health with numerous tests. My mom had a heart attack at 47. I’m 62. It was time to figure out my heart health. I’m okay. My heart is healthy. I was surprised but happy. My mom died at 58. So, I’m happy to be alive.

It’s hard when you’re in the middle of this crazy stress. Joshua is amazing. Last year at TECHSHOW he showed up for my Payment Apps and Ethics CLE. Swipe, Tap and the Law. It was lightly attended. Joshua, I want to thank you for your insight about credit cards and payment apps during my session.

I’m feeling the same way. This year is particularly hard. I think that’s why I adopted a puppy. I needed something. Anyway, you’re not alone. A lot of us are feeling it.

My sweet mom was a philosopher and student of religions. She mostly studied eastern religions. She loved the idea of Buddhism. She was amazing until her first brain aneurysm and surgery. She became an evangelical Christian. It was crazy. The aneurysm was in temporal lobe. It happens.
