My 27th Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning (UEP) student Orientation! 70 1st year students aiming to become "Practical Visionaries" - people who dream big, but have their feet firmly on the ground. When I started, we had 1, now we have 4 degrees and we have double the intake!

Fantastic Tufts Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning (UEP) faculty retreat in Falmouth, Cape Cod. After a tough semester, it was good to get away, plot, plan and strategize. We have lots to celebrate but many challenges ahead in supporting students, especially international ones

Food insecurity is a leading measure of well-being in the US, and SNAP is key to alleviating it. Many food insecure households are ineligible/do not participate in SNAP (570,00 in MA alone). If SNAP were a UBI, food insecurity would be reduced by up to 98% www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
