Back to Groal, I can do the enemy waves without getting hit once, every time. Zero problem. Then Groal comes and gets a lucky, off camera ball bounce while I'm moving and I die!

Theres some really amazing boss fights here! Clockwork dancers felt really beautiful and poignant and I think about it a lot. Unfortunately the really good boss fights are so few and they just highlight the amount of Little Guy Summoning bosses that are just A Task To Finish. It's frustrating!
