Quisp. I was addicted to this as a kid. A few yrs ago I had a BF who won my heart b/c he surprised me a case of Quisp after we had a convo on favorite childhood cereals and he found out they re-issued them. Gotta admit they were not as good as I remembered and I donated the rest to a food bank.

Snagged these beauties at a neighborhood yard sale, $10 for the lot. I just made a nice little profit here,A Hall pitcher and 2 pieces of uranium glass, which is crazy popular right now. I'm keeping the little white plates to put under my plant pots.

Checked my junk folder today and this is what I found, WTAF? I don't know if it's really Shawn King, or it's a scammy spammy bot thing. Of course I'm not opening them. There are so many of these emails, two pages worth, I think they crowded out any other spam. Anyone else get any of these?

Anyone want to buy this vintage dental cabinet for me? Only $2000. My friends found one on the street, borrowed a hand cart from a bodega to get it home then somehow managed to haul it up several stories to their apartment. The 80s, what a time to be young & poor in NYC.

Fig & Walnut Tartlets. Not as good as they look, but I had walnuts & fig preserves I needed to use. It's cleaning out the cupboards time of year. Not sure I like the dry phyllo with the sticky jam. Not a big hit.

Just bought the newest addition to my collection of white tabletop Christmas trees. I haven't even dug any of them out of storage this year. In fact I haven't done anything for Christmas yet. I'm so not feeling it this year. I wonder why? Hmm...

One Christmas I made this train for the 16yr old when she was 4. It's all plastic laundry detergent bottles, plastic bottle & jar caps, and bits & pieces of contact paper and cording. Didn't cost a penny and the kid loved it.

When the 16 yr old was about 5 she was really into cleaning and the colour pink. So I made this for her one Christmas. I scoured dollar stores looking for pink cleaning tools to put in the beer carrying carton I covered in pink duct tape. She loved it and started cleaning her bedroom immediately.
