I get it..I grew up and spent the first half of my life in Indiana.. completely different winters 🥶 I ran away.. giggles

It gets below freezing here every now and again mostly at night but it doesn't usually last long.. and our days generally will be at least 50*f ..we go up and down all winter depending on the jet stream and if the winds are out of the south or not
