I call that feeling catharsis. It’s a purification process that great art catalyzes. I usually feel grief along with it too. I seek this feeling. I’m def gonna watch this film.

I was trying to describe what lights on the Christmas tree look like without my glasses to my friend. The closest I could get was “spikey, latticed orbs with holes in them made of glowing crystal” or “shiny yellow viruses”

I really do wonder what long term effects not knowing what your parents look like has. I have some face recognition issues to this day. I also used to hug strangers all the time before I got glasses. It was always scary when I realized they weren’t my parents.
