I've gone ahead and ordered the fondant fancies! Amazingly, I was able to get a delivery slot on 23rd December, which is handy as they are meant to be best eaten within two days. Phew! Thanks for the recommendation.

I'm old enough to remember when (real) Christmas trees use to smell nice. Now they seem to have had the fragrance bred out of the needles.

Thanks! I had a nice pot of tea in their York branch in summer. Was sick of going to cafes and getting a tea bag in a paper cup, and sometimes even having to add my own water. I was on HOLIDAY and wanted proper service and refreshment! Wasn't even all that pricey. I think £4.75.

Was it any good? Cardiff Christmas Market is generally good but I haven't managed to get there for a couple of years. Birmingham 'German' Xmas market and B'ham Cathedral market both a let-down. So was Liverpool. Exeter Cathedral one is decent. The Worcester one is great!
