In Devon they are called Fire and Rescue service, our local firefighters are super well trained in so many scenarios 🥰

I am here with a cat called Nigel who is available from our local RSPCA shelter. Apparently he is very cuddly. I am going to exchange Mr W (also called Nigel) for him and see if they notice.

Yes, further update - she was not in the car but her son lost all his kit and his ID card. He phoned her as they were running away from the car and she rushed up to Dartmoor. 3 fire engines attended as they kept running out of water and had to go into widecombe to fill up

Further update, son was coming home on Xmas leave with a mate, all his stuff and ID is gone. Friend went up to collect them both from the middle of Dartmoor. Quite a challenging fire apparently ☹️

I hope so, she was seagoing aircrew and her son is serving aircrew so they would be firefighting trained and be very sensible

Oh that's nasty! I am struggling with a frozen shoulder, doesn't stop me running as I am so slow! I hope you are well enough to do Xmas day, it's so joyous 🤶

Well as my dear friend @alant65.bsky.social recently said, he is now unable to keep his sharp comments to himself! That's fine if you are retired but probably not so much as a regulated professional!!
