I don't know how soon I am going to return to E33 but I just know a 100% run/Platinum Trophy chase is in the cards. If you haven't played it yet I highly recommend it. The narrative themes of escapism, grief, absurdity, duty, and choosing hope in the face of utter turmoil all land incredibly well

The game is mesmerizing. If it's not the breathtaking backdrop of the worlds that command a slower appreciation and gander, it's the music that emotionally charges you through various emotions and it's main theme lulls you into a pleasant melancholy. Very appropriate given the games larger themes.

The final story beats probably warranted a bit more focus and time to breathe. By the time I got to the final boss I was wayyyyy too overpowered so it was over within 2/3 hits. Still, I love the world building, gameplay mechanics and it's intricacies and most importantly: the art.

the best version of Vines I've seen in MLS is better than the best version of Santos. I'm hoping that's what you guys get, but I'd certainly be ready to pull the plug after 4-5 games if that proves necessary.

Interested to know why you have Vines over Rafa Santos. I figured that position would be Santos's to lose and I don't disagree about the Vines assessment but thought Santos impressed enough in the last few games.
I also understand how much of a waste leaving that much salary on the bench is.
