As a freelancer, it gets hard to track when my writing get published. So I set up Google Alerts for my name. Yesterday & today, I got alerts for a version of me in the Great Canadian Baking Show. Can I please be this other me for a while? Though not sure how I feel about being a data science student

Happy #InternationalDogDay! Here's my best colleague and pup Song who helps me with my writing, snack breaks, and play times. She'll stand awkwardly behind me until I notice her, but sometimes she'll bring a ball.

Work from home would not be nearly as enjoyable without her company each day.

Finally finished my first sweater! What should I make next?

I'm finally making my first ChatGPT. I just asked it for a #sourdough recipe with some add-in ingredients I had and told it when I wanted to start the levain and bake the bread. Recipe seems pretty accurate to me.

I made a bread. 😋

I was super excited for my son's first dentist appointment that I asked the dentist to take a picture of us. :)

Oops forgot to update here (and take pictures of the final bread loaves). The new starter did not succumb to mold and I ended up with two great loaves for Thanksgiving. Here's the dough in progress.

Sourdough starter update.

Days 3 and 4: Didn't see any signs of life but fed starts anyways.

Day 5: Bubbles! And mold apparently... I tried to salvage some of it, and transferred and fed it in a new jar. 🤞
