Okay so been a while since I posted here.
Had a couple of months of FUNemployment and spent the time packing up the Alaska house, doing a last hurrah whirlwind of curling in the state, and flying off to Virginia.

I'm spending some time over the next month or so focusing on getting the house packed up and on the market, with a goal of flying down to Virginia by May 1st to join my wife who has been down there working since early January.

As I prepare the house for sale..it's become a weekly ritual to smoke and can salmon on Saturday morning... much easier to move canned salmon than frozen salmon...

I think a lot of people at the Department of Energy (DoE) were fired in error because the AI being used to make decisions got confused and thought DoE stood for Department of Education.
