Louisiana will be an outlier when it comes to this privilege for elected officials. I found no other state that allows state legislators, the governor, attorney general, etc. to sue private citizens over an internet post naming where an official goes to church/synagogue. #lalege

So for example, Louisiana judges can't run for their seats again once they reach the age of 70. But a judge would have the right to demand their birth date be removed from a news story or social media post under threat of a lawsuit. #lalege
