You can tell how deeply her convictions are around this statement by the full-body convulsions that accompany her speech patterns.

Maybe I'd dress for something other than bed IF I KNEW I WOULDN'T HAVE TO UNEXPECTEDLY SLEEP ON AN AIRPORT FLOOR

I often think something similar in relation to my godson Luke who passed away while serving in the Navy. If he were alive today I'd beg him not to enlist - not because it could (and did) cost him his life, but because it could cost him his core values.

From a Biblical standpoint, rainbows are a sign of God's covenant not to destroy every living thing on the planet, which directly contradicts the values of the Department of War.

The term originated from an African American and I asked permission to use it. I can get her to provide the same permission to you, if you'd like.

And I don't have MAGA friends. My MAGA family is beyond my ability to get them to vote differently.

Even if you wanted to argue that Confederate flags have multiple meanings to different people and might not be hateful, that's STILL the flag of an actual rebellion against the United States and ought to be against military protocol to display.

It they are "potentially" divisive, that means there are scenarios where a noose or a swastika ISN'T hate speech. I would like Pete Hegseth to explain to me when that would be the case. Explain it like I'm a child. If it's easier for Mr. SecDef, explain it like I'm being homeschooled with PragerU.

Calling for those things to happen is not the same as blaming AIPAC Shakur when they don't.

A double tragedy that Chris Farley is no longer with us to portray him in a biopic.

I am sorry, but the smashburger makes burgers worse. I always ask for my burgers un-smashed if the menu says they are of the smash variety.

"Cliff Grambo? Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time...a long time."
"I think my uncle knows him. He said he was dead."
"Oh, he's not dead, not yet."
"You know him?"
"Well of course I know him. He's me. I haven't gone by anything except Buzz Grambo since before you were born."

He wouldn't have cats or dogs to eat, but at least he could sleep on the couch.

Hell, "Cliff Grambo" would STILL be a kickass Star Wars name.

You just described the plot to every Nicholas Sparks book, but the writers keep leaving those parts out of the movies because they always seem to call up John Woo for advice and he's like, "Ok, that's cool but what if instead everyone was sad and dying of cancer?"

The fight scenes in this movie were choreographed quite well for its time.

All these illegal immigrants being let out of insane asylums are now crossing the border to buy Cadillacs which is why we can't afford health insurance.

Hang it up, Grandpa Simpson, you're no longer the most senile person in the room.

And since I don't see this administration as actually thinking that far ahead on behalf of the average person, I'm going to call the 50-year mortgage a nonstarter.

Thank you for attending my TED Talk.
November 17, 2025 at 5:14 PM
To be clear, I still maintain that the idea of a 50-year mortgage is on its face colossally and indisputably bad, and arguably predatory. But if it were my only option, I'd tinker with the amortization curve so that it could line up with what homeowners are going to need.
