No bingo, but there are a few here that I'd like to watch but haven't yet. Good stuff.

Decided to redo Ash and polished the images a bit. Let me know what you think.

Made some character concepts this week. Not 100% I'll realize this idea in my head, but it was fun to mess around with a different style.

First seasonal to finish is Zenshu. I was expecting more after hearing all the ending hype, and I can appreciate this for what it is, but it was just OK for me.

It's a really good cloak.
This won best picture... I'm not going to even rate it (did enjoy, though, super funny).

I'm afraid to say I'm not a Lynch fan. I liked /some/ of Twin Peaks and not much else from him. So, to no surprise, I did not enjoy Mulholland Dr. very much. It's not a bad movie, but it's also not for me. Feels like 2/3 of one movie and a 1/3 of another. I get it, but...

Really enjoyed this movie with K until the ending. It's not a bad movie by any stretch, in fact it's quite fun and pretty funny for a horror movie. With that in mind, I'll give this a 6/10 because the ending really wasn't for me, but the rest is it.

Finally, we have T.P Bon. This is a perfect example of understanding a show is good (much like Flying Witch) but not being the target audience for it. If you have older elementary or middle school kids, this one would be a real winner.
First half easily better than the second. Soft 7/10.

Next on #JonsJourney is a suggestion from @derekl1963.bsky.social. There's nothing wrong with Flying Witch, but I just couldn't get into it as much as I wanted to. A few cute episodes, and I like Chinatsu (no surprise), but that's about it for me.
Sorry to report a 6/10 for this one.

I'm excited to write about this one. Sakurada Reset is one of those shows where all the characters have PHDs in philosophy and talk a bunch. My favorite part was where a real Kit-Kat prevents a character from ending their life lol.

Some weekend watches. First up we have Bullet Train, a fun film with a tight script. Not my usual kind of thing, but as you can probably tell, I'd recommend it if you like cheesy soap opera drama and Yakuza/Mafi movies or action spectacle flicks.

We did it, we watched the third one and I gotta say that Sonic 3 is pretty great. Now, I know it's not the most incredible thing and I'm not giving it that coveted 10/10, but I was hype. Had a good time. They teased a 4th and I feel it can only get /better/, so I say LET'S GO!

Watched The Window with K tonight for #JonsJourney and it was... fine. This is a retelling of The Boy Who Cried Wolf but as a thriller of sorts. The boy sees a murder but nobody believes him and things happen lol. One /really/ cool part and pretty alright the rest.

This Nicholas Cage had a lot of hype and now that I've finally seen it, I gotta say it really lived up to the hype. It's not scary, but it's got the right vibe. Might be one of Cage's best performances and I'm not even joking. Would recommend.

Been a minute, but this time I'm telling about S2 of Blue Lock. Despite the decrease in quality for all but the final episode (where everything went, as it should have given the nightmare of this production), I still quite enjoyed it.
The no-friendship but still typical sports formula takes an 8/10

Another stop on #JonsJourney, and this time it's The Woman in the Window (not to be confused with The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window). The character acting is great and I was with this movie more than I wasn't but...
The last act wasn't as strong. Mixed.

I knew this wasn't going to be a Gone Girl going in, but I did want to watch it and K indulged me this evening. The ping-ponging tri-fold POV gave up too much information and there weren't really any possible endings that felt satisfying. What we got works, but I didn't enjoy it.

K and I randomly picked a movie from among our pile and this one was deeply unsatisfying. Remember Prisoners? Think that, but nothing compelling about it despite the Interstellar murder mystery angle (that is infinitely more interesting sounding than it is). I give this several empty monologues/10.

Thank you to Uso for recommending Ringing Fate. The Link Click guy delivers, even if this isn't as good as that. I'll let this description speak for itself:
Mixed-media isekai mecha-boxing show where characters bet their memories for a chance to come back to life.
Soft 8/10, would watch S2.

I've always wanted to watch Ranma 1/2, but the original was a big ask. Remake exists now, however, and it exceeded expectations. If it weren't confirmed to continue, I'd be disappointed, but for a part 1, I'm down for more.
Easy 8/10 with the caveat it continues.

GGO S2 had a rocky start but it came together in the end. With it came some interesting questions and implications without telling away from the conclusion. Spoke the dub into existence too lol, which was good.

We gotta get off this train of bad stuff for #JonsJourney. Watched the Mean Girls musical movie adaptation and... This is a soulless adaptation that felt like a speedrun of the original without actually being any shorter. Forgettable music, lame jokes, no heart.

Wasted potential and embarrassingly bad. Finished out of obligation more than anything else. Glimmers of enjoyment that go unrealized, so not getting the worst score, but this is a 2/10 on a good day.

Did you wish Heavy Rain was a feature film instead of a David Cage video game? That's Prisoners, but legit, pretty good. I'm a BIG mystery and thriller fan, so it means something when I say that this one is worth a watch. I'd give Prisoners a 10/10 in spite of a few minor complaints.

This sure was a movie. 2/10.
In seriousness, #JonsJourney isn't all about watching good stuff. This time K and I purposefully watched a bad movie because sometimes they surprise you. It's not boring, we watched it and had a few laughs, it's just derivative with pretty bad plot and acting.
