I think it'd only trigger economic collapse, social instability, etc., Other than Nordic style incremental change - I don't really see any other way out.

The UK electorate has flipped from a narrow 2016 Leave majority (17.4M) to a large 2025 Rejoin majority (19.8M vs 11.7M Stay Out) – driven by 2016 Leave voters switching allegiance and New Voters heavily favoring Rejoin, amplified by demographic change (5M dead).

Yes, but not current though. Money + power have been tangled forever. From Plato to today, we’re still stuck fighting oligarchs and wealth inequality.

UK’s lower post‑WWII inequality was the result of higher taxation, welfare, and rebuilding, not “expropriation.” The Gini index measures income, not wealth. In Thatcher‑era inequality rose due to deindustrialization and globalization, not media control.

Any organized group, even one founded on democratic ideals, inevitably develops a leadership class and over time, this leadership consolidates power, creating an oligarchy -rule by a few. And I'm quoting (in sensu) from the Iron Law of Oligarchy (Robert Michels).

What followed the French Revolution? The House of Bonaparte replaced the House of Bourbon and brought a century of wars, death, and destruction to most of Europe!

100% = expropriation (didn't work out well the last time we tried).
