Fuck. I’m absolutely gutted to hear that Udo Kier passed away. Such a legendary figure who was always a captivating performer. This loss really hurts.

Having faith that Jonathan Bailey will be an Oscar nominee at some point in the near future.

I briefly got into watching boyfriend glow up compilations until I realized the vast majority of them just got a haircut and dressed slightly better.

For the very first time, I saw a Labubu out in the wild.

Heard Diego Calva got cast in a new movie, which I'm just using as an excuse to share this picture again

Sometimes you pass by a man on the street so hot that you have the urge to want to just say it out loud and give them the compliment.

MARTY SUPREME is a propulsive tale of self-obsession that mainly succeeds due to Chalamet’s incredibly captivating performance. He’s a guide through a tense landscape, often excessive in tone, but always compelling. Great crafts and an endearing ensemble on display as well.

Very good chance that Twinless might end up being my favorite film of the year at this point.

Always a joy and an honor to chat with Kevin, but it was an added pleasure to discuss what might very well be the most important movie in my life (said with no irony). Give it a listen for a fun conversation.

WICKED: FOR GOOD has a decent number of engaging sequences that often get weighed down by a clunky script and lethargic pacing. Most of the numbers feel static with less exuberance. But Erivo and Grande shine, especially the emotional depths of the latter. A rocky conclusion.

So many people complaining about the Vanity Fair piece not having any real movie stars featured. I’m just living in bliss enjoying the all the hot dudes on display.

Last time I watched From Dusk till Dawn was with an edible, and I imagined a new interpretation where the Juliette Lewis character was actually a secret psychopath who wanted the Geckos to murder her family so she could run away with them. It was a novel way to experience the film.

Saw Nouvelle Vague. I liked it. Immediately went to look up the actor who plays Seberg’s husband. His name is Paolo Luka-Noé.

It’s been so long since I last bought a magazine but there was no way I could pass on owning this one.

Finally got the chance to see Peter Hujar’s Day. I found it to be a fascinating exercise that plainly examines an artist’s observations that can be shaded with both humor and melancholy. Whishaw gives a sublime and soulful performance, captivating in every frame.

WAKE UP DEAD MAN is another engaging chapter in the Knives Out saga, this one bolstered by a good ensemble led by a riveting Josh O’Connor. The mystery is more a vehicle for spiritual commentary, which can stretch thin with the runtime. But it’s still a fun and compelling ride.

THE RUNNING MAN is propelled by Glen Powell’s powerful charisma and a handful of engaging action sequences. But its pacing is tedious, the writing is clunky, and the tone never really reaches a level that is consistently thrilling. Wright’s efforts mostly feel bland and mundane.

Never really been into Joe Keery all that much, but I am very much into how this shirt is fitting him.
