My usual holiday reminder: if you are uncomfortable lying to get out of an unsafe/unpleasant family situation, I am your friend who is going through a rough time (I need to weed out and dust my bookshelves but I don’t want to) and you need to help me though it (send me productive vibes from home).

I feel sad at how many people are voluntarily giving up their own curiosity. “I’m not Irish; I wasn’t told those stories.” Okay! Wikipedia has a random article feature. You could learn one (1) new thing every day on your lunch break without An Authority Figure telling you what to learn. ✨free will✨

I enjoyed this one! A neo-Western revenge thriller that reminded me of my favorite bits of the series Justified. Plus, everyone in it looks like a character actor which is so much fun to watch.

I know it’s tempting to throw up our hands at “those antivaxxers!” and give up, but measles is airborne so it’s an “all of us who breathe” problem. You (yes, you) wearing a well-fitting mask in public can do something to help protect yourself and others. (Link for the screenshot in the next post.)

Most of the viruses rubbing their hands together in anticipation of travel and holiday season are airborne. You don’t have to invite those germs into your face holes.

I love solving an equation in my math workbook then plugging the answer back in to make sure it’s correct. That’s right, I know everything. On BOTH sides of the equation.
