It's one of the downsides to being the creator - your closeness can actually be a barrier to perspective. But on the plus side, "voice" is like a spider plant: it'll grow very happily by itself without you fussing over it 24/7 ❤️

There's such a thing as tactical deference: instead of locking horns, you nod, smile, and go: "Yep, whatever you say". Instead of engaging with facts or countermoves, you take a step backwards and disengage. Hard to master, but sounds like your mental health needs the break ❤️

I'd love to know *why* he thinks the BBC "aren't allowed to lie" and *where* he gets that information from. There are plenty of records of BBC bias and deliberate misuse of language (e.g. Palestinians "die" but Israelis "are killed").
