In 2022, I had the honor of being appointed Director of the School of Journalism at the University of Arizona. I’m proud to be the first Latina to lead this prestigious school in its 70+ year history, and one of the few to hold a leadership role in a journalism school across the U.S. Let's connect!
I’m wrapping up my term as Director of the University of Arizona School of Journalism. Grateful for all we’ve built: a more inclusive, digital, and globally engaged journalism school. Next up: a sabbatical to conduct research on population movements & news media across continents and languages
