But surely the same can be said about many many birds, butterflies, beetles, etc.
It’s called iridescence and it’s super cool! But should we really call the resulting color “not true” because it’s not a pigment? 🤔

I like to joke about how part of the reason why I fight for social security, retirement at an early age, and a livable planet, is so I may one day get time to work on stuff like that for a bit.
