On my last visit I found the Perennial Tea Room at Pike Place to be a great place to get a cup (and I’m sure to get some loose leaf to take home if desired).

I think I’m both more likely to give out 5-stars but also more likely to be harsh to things like “interesting ideas but it didn’t really come together”.

Is it more that you have a really high bar for five-stars, or more that you can love and call a favorite authors whose work has some qualities you value but also have significant (enough to ding by at least a star) flaws?

At Karaoke with Kelly Guimont and she tried to do All Night Long while I did Me & Julio and she couldn’t quite get it to line up 😄
