Congresswoman McClellan is delivering an amazing keynote address to the Arlington Branch of the NAACP tonight, reminding us of the power of community. “We the People is working, but we’ve got to be in it for the long haul.”

@azizaahmed.bsky.social delivered an amazing talk today at @auwcl.bsky.social about her impactful book “Risk and Resistance: How Feminists Transformed the Law and Science of AIDS”. @michelebgoodwin.bsky.social beautifully summarized that Prof. Ahmed “practices her brilliance with grace.”

Arlington, VA is out in peaceful and joyful community solidarity from Rosslyn to McLean with joyous love for actual democratic values. Immigrants Make America Great! My grandfathers fought for freedom from authoritarianism.

Protesting for some basic “Schoolhouse Rocks” basics of a functioning government at National Law Day on the Supreme Court steps. Fittingly, the Supreme Court is under construction. Also fittingly, the sun is still shining as communities come together!

One small thing we can all do is schedule time to thank our elected leaders who *are* out there fighting every day. I met with my County Board leaders today to say thank you and to chat about the future. I left energized and inspired thanks to @jdspainsr.bsky.social and @takiskarantonis.bsky.social

The DC March is an extraordinary sense of human connection. The sign game is strong here.

I’ve flown out of DCA twice this week. The across-the-board delays were simply staggering (w/ sunny skies). Road Rules TV appearances don’t make for competent transportation leaders. The Frogger-style air traffic control system currently in operation at DCA is nothing short of terrifying.

Proud of my community. Arlington School Board, County Board, and the public came together tonight to keep expressing our steadfast support for trans kids in our schools and in our community.

I’m back in Louisville for the first time since Dobbs. I took a few minutes to pay my respects to the EMW Clinic that served this community for decades before its pending demolition. There is alot to grieve here, but KY advocates have always adapted and persevered against fierce political headwinds.

I ❤️ our federal workers this Valentine’s Day. 2025 edition of Conversation Hearts. Workplace Safety = Be Mine. Vaccines = Kiss Me. Hurricane forecasting = I’m yours! Banking security = XOXO. I love and treasure my hubby of 22 yrs, but the fed. gov.’s info and expertise has been with me even longer.

I did cartwheels of joy all the way to the @ucpress.bsky.social book display at AALS to take this “boothie” photo with my amazing editor, Maura. I’m so grateful to have this book in print.
