Anybody who thinks you can be a real economic populist by abandoning minorities, women, gays and other marginalized communities has a warped view of the working class.

Similarly, anybody who thinks working people don't care about a healthy environment has a warped view of the working class.

One of our biggest problems is loyalty to party over country.

And nothing would do more to break that tribalism than to create a system that *structurally supports* coalition-building in order to form a government.

Thoughts? Other ideas?

The first fix is to implement ranked-choice, or preferential, voting *across the board* with an instant run-off system, that would also do away with primaries.

We also need to fully scrap the Electoral College, which, with its winner-take-all system, favors there being only 2 parties.

Jefferson felt people had a natural tendency to segregate into 2 warring tribes. Our government, especially the Presidency, is built to only support 2 parties.

Nothing would do more to benefit the country than to create structural support for more than 2 *viable* parties.

Torrent involves sharing content in violation of both copyright law and terms of use. Paying for all streaming networks gives you the right to view it *yourself*, not download copies to share with the world.

That is, definitionally, piracy. Lots of people do it, but that doesn’t make it legal.

Peacock comes bundled with Xfinity internet. Not sure I’d recommend it b/c of that, but it’s a nice perk.

Prime Video now costs extra for ad-free. Apple TV comes bundled with their web services, and there’s a Disney+/Hulu/HBOMax bundle.

The cost-saving move is signup when you need to then cancel.

Socialism is what they called bank deposit insurance.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.
