Who is the oppressed in this case? The only oppressors I’ve ever seen in Star Wars is the Empire. The ones who killed, pillaged, and erased culture.

Afraid I can’t follow you down that path. Flawed as they can be, I think the story of Star Wars makes it quite clear the Jedi are the heroes. But, to each their own. 🤝

To me they’ll never be satisfying because they are villains who confuse power for purpose. Who process pain by dishing it out to others.
