I had a first-gen and know a few people from online forums who still have them. The BECM (battery control module) is hard to find or expensive if you do. I don't know about the second-gen, but I'm sure it's a similar problem. It's too bad, as it's another GM product that they didn't properly sell.

I’d be leery of Hyundai due to ICCU failures; complete failures statistically low, but one person I know waited almost 2 months for the replacement part.

All Mach E model from 2023 on have blue cruise capability. 2025s have the latest 1.5 version which has auto lane change. I find it too expensive to enable on my 2024 for the driving I do.

My first company car was a first gen Taurus, and the later ones were second gen. They were all competent no drama cars. I also had a first gen Sable as a rental and I remembered thinking how cool that front light bar was.
