I learned to drive in an old blue Volvo wagon. It was fantastic and led to my later love of all things wagon. (This was a few years ago, I'm down to zero but also have no kids to shuttle)

Yes, the path is still closed but lots of folks are riding up and down the road. It was icy at the bottom this morning, probably better now with some sun on it.

But yeah, worth it.

I checked the detour map, apparently going over 10 St would have been the better idea. There was no signage at the overpass so I winged it

Kinda like my idea of one in every ten of these should be mounted on a rigid steel pole

Funnily enough, there is an intersection a few meters away from where this happened with a concrete barrier between the lanes at a T intersection. The barrier gets smoked all the time. Again, right in front of the elementary school...

Some drivers are reaaaallly committed to passing every bicycle they see.

I was so out of shape a couple of years ago, it's nice to be able to get a few km in without being bagged. Say what you will about ebikes, mine got me back in the game.
