Reading Monroeville's Zoning Ordinance is a hilarious endeavor—for example, the C-3 mixed-use district. "Reduce the need for parking structures" all while still having insane minimum parking requirements.

A post from the Monroeville Community Cares Facebook page with text reading: Monroeville citizens!!!! You have to pay attention to what your council and school board are doing. Fortunately Garden City residents were paying attention and were able to stop a development plan that would have negatively affected the neighborhood. Next time it could be where you live!!! And council will be voting on a budget in a month that proposes a 50% property tax increases!!! This is on top of a proposed county property tax increase and recent school board increase. Do your research and make your voices heard!!

Great project and I hope it gets the approvals and funding it needs. However, it shouldn't take 3 years to get approvals for a currently empty lot.
