I miss the 5 trillion kinds of screaming parrots LOL it's so quiet here!!!

I feel this every time I hear the sound of Australian birds. I recently watched a video of some pied butcherbirds singing and I had to try so hard not to tear up lol. And yet if I moved back I'd miss the sound of NZ birds just as much if not more...

I think it's one of those things where like, because nobody talks about it, the people who do talk about it feel crazy like "why isn't anyone talking about this?" and overcompensate really hard into being one of those single-issue voter kinds of guys
