Anyway, it's kind of insane that Carville's claim to fame was getting a candidate 43% in a presidential election (the lowest winning share of the popular vote since Woodrow Wilson) and we've had to hear from him non-stop for three+ decades.

Trump is too stupid to think of it. I don’t think there was any strategy involved, if anything, I think he went off “tough anti-Commie” script. He responds to confident, charismatic men who get good “ratings”. That’s it. That’s his entire worldview.

I mean, I’d expect that from a Republican tool like Stefanik. But for the Democratic leadership from his own damn state to refuse to endorse or acknowledge him? Proof that they have no idea which way the wind is blowing and no business leading the party!
