I know, maar ik word verdrietig als ik zie hoe weinig mensen het nog aankunnen om hun brein te laten kietelen of juist lang genoeg met rust te laten zodat er ruimte ontstaat voor verveling (of, god verhoede, een originele gedachte).

Apparently it's much easier for people to rationalise what's happening all around them than to sit with the uncomfortable truth that the system that once served them is clearly very fucked, and so are they.

It's weird how it's never the legitimate concerns of people who want publicly owned utilities and for the poor not to be punished for the mistakes of the wealthy, isn't it?
