Powerful photo by my Reuters colleague Thomas Peter of a shopkeeper in Ukraine’s frontline city of Kramatorsk. Her face covered in dust from a drone blast, she stands at her counter, refusing to leave.

This is an important editorial by the editor of the Courier about the Dundee “knife incident” and how the law holds the traditional media to higher standards than social media.

Finally, the wheels are coming off Thailand's infamous "Temple of Doom," with its abbot's resignation and the overdue burial of AIDS victims who helped generate so many donations. It took the Thai authorities long enough. I wrote this expose in 2008.

Trump's call for 100% tariffs on foreign films reminded me of this recent scene outside Reuters office in London's Canary Wharf district, which - with a few well-placed cars and fake steam vents - was transformed into a New York City block for a movie.

I took this video three years ago today outside Lviv station, then thronging with exhausted refugees fleeing war in eastern Ukraine. The accomplished pianist is @olya_olyusia, and her rendition of “What a Wonderful World” was unforgettable.
