I'm sorry, that’s hard. It took my mom a bit of time before we got our relationship back stronger than before. What helped me was time, just living my truth and thriving as the woman I am.

The problem is she was on the senior leadership of the Harris Campaign. Making it more scary.

We let ultra-rich consultants who pretend to know what they are doing run 25-year-old strategies and set the Democratic messaging strategy. These consultants work at places like Uber and GE during the off-season.
We will never win again until we stop hiring these out-of-touch losers.

Harris did not have trans people in the room about trans issues. We had a few trans volunteers like myself who were two steps removed but never asked proactively to help with messaging. We are an afterthought. Instead, we had people like Stephanie that doesn’t know not to use transgender as a noun.

She acts like this is somehow not her fault. It’s because of the senior leadership consultants of the Harris Campaign that made her run from trans issues. This allowed the Trump Campaign to control the narrative of how Democrats believe, thus disarming ourselves instead of holding to our values.
