Maple Leafs send Easton Cowan to the Marlies and activate Scott Laughton from the IR.

Cowan had been playing well in the NHL but with five games in 10 days for the Marlies beginning tonight, there's lots more playing time available in the AHL.

Sounds like Maple Leafs prospect Ben Danford could be on the move from the Oshawa Generals to the Brantford Bulldogs.

Trade not done and teams working on it.

Brantford is undefeated in OHL so far and Danford could get another possible chance at a Memorial Cup.
