If there isn't a Terminator Skynet situation eventually, some people may become so integrated with AI - literally through Brain Computer Interfaces, that the line will blur between biological and artificial. This is transhumanism and I see that as being inevitable by the late 2030s

Also there is what happens when we move beyond Artificial General Intelligence which we are very fast approaching. Superintelligent AI can lead to development of things really beyond what we can imagine. It can also self improve. It's a Singularity

It's great right now. But (along with the rise of humanoid robots), it's going to lead to massive job losses. Sure, new jobs will be created, but nowhere nearly enough. Medicare for All and Universal Basic Income will become necessary.
