This is the first winter in two years where Kalamazoo County road crews are responsible for plowing the streets that make up Fleetwood Plat after ending a contract with the city of Galesburg. People who live here say they are frustrated by the response time.

131 southbound from Grand Rapids to Plainwell was slow moving around 10 tonight. It was hard to determine where the lanes were at times. About 3 vehicles were in ditches along the highway.

Update: Officials now say the two National Guard members are in critical condition. VW Governor earlier said the service members had died before saying there were conflicting reports.
