I’ve been texting one of my students from the hospital. She’s in good spirits and has non life threatening injuries.
These are good kids; on Tuesday we are planning to go to the capital, breakfast with the democrats and lunch with the republicans. They were going to solve the budget crisis.

The U.S. military has destroyed five boats it has alleged were ferrying drugs into the U.S., killing 27 people. No authority has publicly released the names of any of the dead. One family is believed to be the first to publicly say they believe a relative is among those who were killed.

It was a blast having my students from Lincoln University of PA in West Chester. They got to meet and ask questions of judges, the Chester County District Attorney, the Public Defender, and many more leaders. Most of the students are members of the Thurgood Marshall Law Society.

Someone tried to escape the County prison yesterday. They were immediately thwarted by incredibly well-trained staff. They also encountered, and became entangled in, the first of many new security measures that would prevent some from escaping the facility.
