Colors! The rainbow effect here is based on the first rainbow cycle code snippet I found; I want to do some different animations and color gradients later on. I am deep in a yak shave with the firmware/software that drives the lighting effects so who knows how long until I get to that.

It's a little plain without color, but it's meant to have colorful backlighting! See here with individual lights showing clearly through the frosted decal, and then heavily diffused by an Ikea cutting board in between the lights and the panel.

The design is printed on frosted vinyl, with front adhesive (the ink and the adhesive are on the same side), and there is a layer of white ink underneath to make it closer to opaque. Here it is from the other side.

I recently got these decals I ordered for my dance pad. The process to draw them was overly complicated and the detailed Blender-rendered lighting on the metallic arrow outline mostly just looks gray. But! I'm still very happy with the result.
