BEWITCHED is way more charming & fun than people gave it credit for when it came out, and even though not all of it is good, it’s an entertaining enough romantic comedy with two great leads. I love Nicole Kidman, this is a sleeper pick for one of her best performances. This is peak Ferrell #FilmSky

BUGONIA is both deeply unsettling and very funny. Emma Stone has proven time and time again that she’s the best actress of her generation and I hope that people realize that Jesse Plemmons is right there with her. Yorgos was the perfect person to make this kind of movie. #Bugonia #MovieSky

BATMAN VS TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES is an animated movie that every nerd has dreamed of. It’s so fun, the animation looks great, and it feels like the right version of a crossover story before everybody tried to do it. The character interactions are perfect, and it’s so entertaining. #FilmSky

FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS is definitely the best FF movie, but it’s not what I wanted it to be. It’s in that grey area for me between “good movie” & “not what I want from those characters as a comic fan.” I have a laundry list of issues with this film but ultimately I think I did like it. #FilmSky

ATLANTIS: MILO’S RETURN is very obviously 3 episodes of a potential animated series glued together to make a film, & while fun it’s just not as good as the original. I would have loved to have gotten a full series though, & even still would love a revisit to the world. Fun watch regardless #FilmSky

BORDERLINE wants to be quirky so bad that it reeks of desperation at every element. This is the exact kind of movie that irritates me to no end. The soundtrack is just needle drops without reason, and everyone is doing their best Joker audition. Horrificly stupid & a total waste of time #FilmSky

SCOOBY-DOO MEETS BATMAN is a VHS tape that I wore out as a kid. Always blew my mind that this crossover was a thing, & the Batman & Scooby relationship has been one of my favorites ever since. Not gonna lie, it’s a harder watch several decades later and as an adult, but the spirit lives on #FilmSky

TOMMY BOY is one of my favorites comedies & has so much sentimental value for me. I rewatched it constantly as a kid, with Chris Farley’s performance being one of those that I really connected to. Farley was one of a kind, a truly funny dude & this film is the best at showing his range #FilmSky

HAPPY GILMORE is one of those comedies that has honestly lost its humor for me but I still like it and understand why people think it’s funny. I don’t usually enjoy Sandler’s movies but this one stands up above the rest to me. It also comes from an era when comedies looked like movies still #FilmSky

REALITY BITES is usually the exact kind of movie that I would enjoy, but I found it so pretentious and desperate to say something that it felt like it had nothing to say. It’s like they went out of their way to try and cover every topic popular at the time and became a parody of itself. #FilmSky

JAWS @ 50: THE DEFINITIVE INSIDE STORY, even though the title is horrible, is a really fun and in depth documentary on the creation of one of the greatest films of all time. It was fascinating to get so much insight directly from Spielberg, & learning about the original novel was cool too. #FilmSky
