Best movie ever made remains Mystery Of The Wax Museum. Peak Kino.

A little high and a little bored tonight so painted my nails for the first time for a party we never went to. Couldn’t be happier if I tried.

One of the most terrifying images of 2025 kino. Another really astonishing work from Curtis.

#16 Ender Magnolia: Bloom In The Mist (Adglobe/Live Wire)

Grade: A-

Incredible little game. Metroidvanias are absolutely not my vibe, but the world and design here is so interesting and engages me in a way to where I sort of the repetitive nature of the gameplay, and the mechanics help too.

Made this last night. Missing about six or seven movies that just weren’t available to add but I like this list enough.

#15 Serial Experiments Lain (Pioneer LDC)

Grade: A+

Impossible to blankly recommend, this…riff? rumination? on the anime of the same name is a harrowing experience. Ostensibly a visual novel, the game’s conclusion is unlike anything I’ve ever seen and the aftermath is something I’ll never forget.

#14 Centum (Hack The Publisher)

Grade: B

David Lynch does point and click. Not quite as exhilarating as that sounds but the influences are clear and the Kafkaesque atmosphere makes for a captivating experience. Nice and relatively quick, there are a few threads that don’t land but it’s beautiful.

#13 Doom: The Dark Ages

Grade: B-

Good, inconsistent. Gunplay sings when things get more and more intense, with melee and parries making for very dynamic combos. Mech/dragon sequences are drags, and maybe a few too many chapters. Overall a fun, if bloated, evolution of the Doom formula.
