not having internet isn't too bad because I can hotspot my laptop and still get some work done. It also helps that I spend less time doomscrolling 🤭 but not having power is so much worse! it's almost worrying to be so reliant on something 👀🥲

I got my camera for the same reasons! & I use it more than my iPhone camera~ 🤭 it just comes down to what you can afford & what your priorities are! the x100v/x100vi are perfectly fine to start with & I nearly went with the x100vi because I love the style! it's much more travel-friendly too!

I chose the xs20! An interchangeable lens was really important to me but the x100 series is great (especially for beginners)!
